Cynar Negroni

A bittersweet riff on the Negroni that swaps Campari for Cynar — equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and artichoke amaro, stirred and served over ice with an expressed lemon peel.

Instructions

Combine gin, sweet vermouth, and Cynar in a mixing glass with a handful of ice. Stir continuously for 30 seconds to chill and dilute.

Strain into a lowball glass over fresh ice.

Cut a 1-inch strip of lemon peel, express it over the drink, run it around the rim, and drop it in.
